About Me

Hello to all,

My  name is Carressa Rancifer. I am a recent graduate of National Holistic Institute of Massage Therapy, where I have completed the 800 hour training program. I have been trained in multiple modalities but the focus for my personal practice will include Swedish, Shiatsu, Deep Tissue, and Myofascial Therapy.

What brought me to the world of massage, some may ask. Well I have always enjoyed working with people, in fact I have known since I was a young child that I wanted to make a difference in this world with whatever I decided to become as an adult. I am originally from Arkansas and moved to California in 2016. In Arkansas I was a Certified Nursing Assistant and full time student studying Social Work at the University of Arkansas at Monticello. After moving to California I was having a hard time figuring out what I wanted to do next to better my own health and well being as well as help others in the process. In 2014 I was diagnosed with PCOS (polycystic ovarian syndrome) a condition that affects the hormones in women which causes a hormone imbalance, therefore hindering egg production, which leads to infertility. I wanted a more holistic approach with treating this condition, because there is no cure, the most logical step to me was to make some lifestyle changes, which included diet, exercise, and massage.

I have found that being a Massage Therapist is definitely my calling, I enjoy working with people from many different walks of life. I am excited about my journey and look forward to meeting new people and developing those trusting relationships that many hope to have with any therapist.
