Trigger Point Therapy

60 minutes: $85
90 minutes: $110
120 minutes: $135

Trigger Point Therapy is a style of bodywork that focuses on stimulating and releasing "trigger points" in your body. Trigger points are tender areas of tension similar to acupressure points, except they occur in the belly of the muscle rather than along the energy pathways of the body. These "knots" are built up throughout a person's life due to physical, mental, and/or emotional stress. During a session, focused pressure is applied through a variety of techniques order to release your trigger points. This process can be quite painful at times, yet the effects are lasting and profoundly transformative.

Deep Tissue Massage

60 minutes: $85
90 minutes: $110
120 minutes: $135

Deep Tissue Massage is a form of bodywork that aims to relieve tension in the deeper layers of tissue in the body. Deep Tissue Massage is a highly effective method for releasing chronic stress areas due to misalignment, repetitive motions, and past lingering injuries. Due to the nature of the deep tissue work, open communication during the session is crucial to make sure you don't get too uncomfortable. Keep in mind that soreness is pretty common after the treatment, and that plenty of water should be ingested to aid with the flushing and removal of toxins that will have been released from the deep tissue during the session.

Hydrotherapy Friction $10

The skin is the largest organ in our bodies. It assists with elimination, temperature regulation, protection, sensing, and converting ultra-violet rays to Vitamin D. There are many benefits to hydrotherapy friction including a salt glow, exfoliation and tonifying of the skin, vasodilation, and increased circulation with more nutrients and oxygen. The salt is a cleansing antiseptic that helps to draw out toxins. Hydrotherapy friction also helps to relax the nerves and muscles, decreases stress and pain. This is an added benefit to your choice of massage modality.

Aromatherapy is a great added benefit to massage. Benefits include relaxing the mind, reducing inflammation, fighting depression and easing anxiety, fighting bacteria and viruses.  Aromatherapy also gives us feelings of joy or comfort and balances the endocrine system. Below is a list of the essential oils that I offer and their indivudual benefits.

ADD ON

Lavendar: It is the essence of pure calmness and relaxation. This versatile oil gives off a light scent, which uplifts the spirit while transitioning moods to the ultimate state of calmness.

Tea Tree: Its powerful antiseptic properties wipe out harmful bacteria to heal wounds quickly and prevent future infection.  When applied to the body, it creates a cooling sensation that wakes up dull, dehydrated skin and leaves you feeling completely refreshed.

Lemongrass: A great herb for inducing relaxation and balance for the mind. Externally, it helps relieve muscle pain and aches, as well as kill harmful bacteria.

Eucalyptus: Known for its awesome ability to improve respiratory issues (such as the common cold), it can clear out that cough and heavy congestion we all have suffered from.

Sweet Orange: The rich component d-limonene aids in maintaining normal cellular regeneration and gives off a natural, calming effect.  A sweet cocktail for senses, this aroma promotes positive attitudes and induces relaxation for a calm spirit.

Peppermint: It is great for many health restorative properties. It is used as a medicinal and calming aroma to treat a wide variety of bodily organs.  It can be helpful in calming gastrointestinal issues, reducing muscle pain, and relieving anxiety.
